Timing

The events run for 3 hours after the parks close to the general public.

Guests with a Disney After Hours ticket can enter the park as of 7:00pm using their event ticket. So, you can be in the park to watch the fireworks with everyone, and then, as the other guests are politely ushered out, your lower-crowd-level experience begins.

Cons

  1. In previous years, the Disney After Hours events at Magic Kingdom included a fireworks presentation, yet this component has not been listed for the 2026 dates. After Hours guests can still be in the park for any regularly scheduled fireworks shows before the event begins, but a second fireworks show that previously happened during the event and was only for event guests is not listed in 2026.

Pros

  1. Complimentary snacks – popcorn, ice cream treats, and bottled beverages are included with your event ticket and can be found at various snack booths throughout the parks.

  2. Lower crowd levels – which allows for shorter wait times at attractions and meeting characters. Having experienced this in 2025, the crowd levels are significantly lower than during the regular park hours. As the night went on, it almost felt like we had the park to ourselves!

The charm of a Disney After Hours event is a different experience from a regular park day. The pace is a little slower, the lights on Main Street seem to shine a little brighter, and the ice cream seems to taste a little sweeter.  The magic feels like it belongs to you.  If you’ve ever wanted to see the parks in their most enchanting form, these are the nights to do it.
